Excellent customer service and the 3 door freezers which i brought are like new and working flowless. i recommend this company for all the Restaurants for their refrigeration needs. A big thanks to Tasha for your support throughout the purchasing process .
I purshased a "refurbished' Royal display cooler ($4000.00) from Ancaster Food Equipment. I was told it would be in "Like-New" condition when I get it but when it finally arrived it was plagued with issues Here are a just a few... 1. The unit was filthy. 2. The condenser was dirty. 3. The light bulbs were old and 2 of the 4 were actually burnt out. 4. The glass clips were either missing, or badly rusted. 5. The front handle was missing. 6. Worst of all, the retrofitted glass that they installed on the top of the cabinet was improperly installed and it cracked the first time I opened it. 7. The description of the display case was incorrectly defined as to what it was and is. There was no curtain/cover with it either. I've been waiting on replacement parts for fix these some of issues but have yet to receive any. I have been extremely patient with this company but I'm now just agitated to the point where I am sharing my experience. I'm not one complain but... I STRONGLY ADVISE, THAT BUYER BEWARE when purchasing used equipment from this company.
I own a 40 seat restaurant in Elora. At 4:40 pm on Thursday it was determined that our fridge was beyond repair. I called Ancaster Food Equipment at 4:43pm. Amanda explained that their products typically have a 8-10 business day turn around. I needed something immediately. She spoke to her manager and found a solution. By 1:00pm Friday our “new” True fridge was installed. The delivery team was polite and careful(I didn’t catch their names unfortunately) In our industry every business claims to have our back, but in the final hour this is often not true. Ancaster Food Equipment is the exception. From now on our business will deal with them for all our appliance needs. And, if you put a new fridge next to our refurbished unit, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Thanks again to Amanda and Ancaster Food Equipment.
